Course Description:
This course focuses on the following; properties of binary mixtures and solutions such as: fugacity of gases and liquids, activity and standard states, ideal and non-ideal solutions, Gibbs-Duhem equation. Analytical and generalized equations of state and Physical equilibria among phases for various systems such as: phase rule and vapor-liquid equilibria.
