Chemical reaction 1

Course Description:
The aim of this course is to study the basic of the chemical reactions, the design of reactors, the kinetic of homogenous reactions, the rate of the reaction, the batch, the plug flow reactor and the mixed flow reactor, the residence time and the introduction to the non-homogenous reactions.

Course Outline:
Chapter 1: mole balance, chapter 2: conversion and reactor sizing, chapter 3: rate laws, chapter 4: stoichiometry, chapter 5: isothermal reactor design: conversion, chapter 6: isothermal reactor design: moles and molar flow rates.
