Course Description:
designing a non-isothermal reactor, studying CSTR reactor and its stability, overview on heterogeneous reacting systems and their design, studying the non-ideal reactors and residence time RTD.

Course Outline:
Chapter 8: steady-state non-isothermal design (energy balance, non-isothermal CSTR). Chapter 9: unsteady-state non-isothermal reactor design. Chapter 11: heterogeneous reactions. Chapter 13: distribution of residence time for chemical reactors. Chapter 14: models for non-ideal reactors.
