1.0 Physical chemistry

Course Description:
This course includes Principles of physical chemistry and kinetics of the gases, studying first and second laws of thermodynamics, chemical equilibrium, phases and solutions.

Course Outline:
Focus 1: the properties of gases (the ideal gas, the kinetic model, real gases). Focus 2: the first law (internal energy, enthalpy, thermochemistry). Focus 3: the second and third laws (entropy, Gibb’s energy). Focus 4: physical transformation of pure substances.
