Course Description:
The course introduces signal and system model and classification; this includes continuous-time signals, signals and vectors, generalized Fourier series representation, etc.

Course Outline:
Chapter 1: Signals and systems classification, signals and vectors. Chapter 2: Generalized, complex exponential, and trigonometric Fourier series representation of periodic signals. Chapter 3: Line, power and energy spectra of signals and bandwidth of signals. Chapter 4: The Fourier transform of some typical time domain signals.
