Course Description:
This training course aims to define and discuss the technologies of desalination, filtration and treatment of salt-water. This course focuses on mass and energy balances for different systems based on MS-Visio, Aspen HYSYS and MS-Excel as analysis design tools in salt-water treatment.

Introduction to desalination systems design 2) Introduction to Filtration systems design 3) Design of seawater desalination and treatment 4) Introduction to MS-Visio, Aspen HYSYS and MS-Excel as analysis design and simulation tools for salt-water treatment plants 5) Design, monitor and evaluation of seawater desalination plants (Case studies).
