PROFESSIONAL WASTEWATER TREATMENT TECHNOLOGIES-PWTT

Course Description:
This training course aims to define and discuss the technologies of wastewater treatment and management by reporting the theoretical techniques by practical applications. In this course, MS-Visio, Aspen HYSYS and MS-Excel will be used to design and simulate different technologies of wastewater treatment.

Course Outline:
1) Wastewater: Definitions, contents, hazards, classification and management 2) New technologies in wastewater treatment: methods, principles and steps 3) International standards related to wastewater transportation, storage and treatment 4) Introduction to MS-Visio, Aspen HYSYS and MS-Excel as analysis design and simulation tools in wastewater plants. 5) Design, monitor and evaluation of wastewater treatment plants (Case studies)
