Course Description:
Essentially important for chemical engineering students in all universities. This course studies the basics of chemical engineering. It includes the steady-state mass balances in the chemical processes, the lows of the thermodynamics, the behavior of the gases and liquids and their steady state operations and others.

Chapter 6: Phases and Phase equilibrium - VLE calculations. Chapter 7: Energy and Energy balance - steam tables. Chapter 8: Energy balances on nonreactive systems. Chapter 9: Energy balances on reactive systems.
