This training course gives overview on gas treating with amines, sulfur recovery, and sour water stripping. The details of materials and process conditions are described to give real understanding.

Course Outline:
1-Pre-testing. 2- Introduction. 3- Source and compositions of refinery gas and sour water. 4-Types of sulfur compounds and ammonia and their effects on treating, stripping and sulfur recovery. 5- Gas treating with amines. 6- Acid gas removal unit (ARU)and Sour water stripping (SWS). 7- Elemental sulfur recovery and Sulfur recovery unit (SRU). 8-Tail gas treating and cleaning up (TGU/TGCU) ,Incineration , Conclusion and Final evaluation.
