Structural Design using “SAFE”

Course Description:
This course aims to design the structural elements “Slabs and footing” by using the SAFE program because it's more accurate than the ETABS for these elements.

Course Outline:
• How to prepare SAFE program for analysis and design process. • Definition of long-term deflection combinations in SAFE program and how to check it. • Design slabs and beams and verify all design requirements. • Define soil properties and draw all types of footings. • Check soil stresses, one way shear and punching shear. • Design and analysis of various types of concrete foundations.
