Course Description:
This course focuses on the advanced mechanical design methods and the mechanical elements. The course includes the shaft and shaft components design, permanent and nonpermanent joints design, the springs and contact bearings. Moreover, it includes the gear design of different kinds with the load analysis. Finally, it introduces the clutch and couplings design methods.
